The Embassy of Japan in Qatar will introduce the “HOKKAIDO Food Fair” during a launching event to be held on Monday the 3rd of March 2014, at 14:00 at the ambassador’s residence (By invitation only).
The Hokkaido food fair products will be exhibited every day from 12:00-11:00 p.m. at JUNKO Sushi & Japanese Dinning, Porto Arabia 178, La Croisette 12, The Pearl-Qatar (Tel: +974-40028294).
Hokkaido, a north region of Japan, has many resources that attract tourists from all over the world, whether for its winter sports performed on high quality snow, or for its beautiful and magnificent scenery, or even for its excellent agricultural and marine products, dietary supplements and cosmetics, etc.
At this event, people in Qatar will get to know more about these tourism resources, and to taste-through food samples, sweets, dairy products and processed marine products all that are made in Hokkaido.
The “Hokkaido Food Fair” is organized by the Embassy of Japan in cooperation with the Hokkaido Bureau of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan.
The event will be started by the opening remarks delivered by H.E. Mr. Shingo Tsuda, Ambassador of Japan to Qatar and by Mr. Toshikazu Masuyama, Director General of Hokkaido Bureau of METI. Several Japanese enterprises, small and medium size, will display their products and 36 companies working in the food industry will be introduced (attached the Member List). These companies are members of the Hokkaido Business Mission headed by Mr. Masuyama.
