Consumers will soon have another option for shopping. Chinese retailer Dragon Mart, which is located in Industrial area, is set to open on July 19. Initially about 20 percent of the shops will be open for customers while rests of the shops are likely to open by the end of current year. The shop owners have already been informed about the opening schedule and they are asked to get ready by Friday. The preparations by the shopkeepers are going on full swing and while some shops are being given finishing touch.
The portion of Dragon Mart, which is opposite to Al Watan Petrol station, will open in the first phase. Officials said that there is ample space for parking. The mart was expected to open in August last year and the plans got delayed due to procedural issues.
