The Doha International Book Fair 2022 has just announced on its Instagram page that, starting 18 January 2022, children under the age of 12 will be allowed to enter the Book Fair daily from 4 pm to 9 pm till 22 January 2022, provided they are accompanied by their parents, with the need to adhere to all COVID-19 precautions.

Previously, unvaccinated people and kids under the age of 12 were not allowed entry to the Doha International Book Fai taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre from 13 January to 22 January.

Date and Time:

• The fair will open from Saturday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.
• Friday, it is open from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Precautionary measures & entry:

• Pre-registration will be required through an electronic link, where the registration code registered for the visit will be received via e-mail, and only fully vaccinated people or those who have recovered from Covid-9 within the last 12 months will be allowed in.
• In line with health regulations imposed by authorities, only 2000 people (30%) of the venue’s capacity will be allowed to attend the book fair at any one time. (Doors will be closed if the total number is reached inside the exhibition hall)
• Entry and exit will be heavily monitored to avoid overcrowding and social distancing measures will be implemented at all times.
• It is also mandatory for all visitors to show GREEN Ehteraz to enter.
