Prepare to enjoy a magical experience as the biggest and the first International Light Festival in Qatar will be held at Lusail Marina will kick off on December 6, 2018.
The three-day event named as Light Me Lusail will illuminate the Lusail Marina Eastern Promenade, turning it into a spectacular fusion of culture, vibrant colours, and artistic sculptures.

The magical festival promises to offer an amazing family photo opportunities and vividly lit scenery, making for a magical experience. To be held from 6 pm to 11:30 pm, light art is an applied art form in which light is the main medium of expression.
According to Peninsula Qatar, installation of internationally acclaimed artist and co-founder of Ocubo, which specialises in light video mapping projection, Nuno Maya will be present at the festival.
In a social media post, Lusail said that the artist explores the heritage and future of Qatar, which will be represented in a two-part installation at the arena. The concept of the passage is not only explored by public walking but through the perception of time.
Another notable installation that will be featured is NEST, an art about bowerbirds from Australia that build nests strictly from recycled materials. Indian light designers and architects Vikas Patil and Santosh Gujar are behind of this organic architecture that includes multiple light sequence.
The festival will wow visitors with its beautiful immersive sensorial installation related to natural phenomenon yet focusing on external and internal sensation by leading the audience to experience an altered state, losing notions of space and time.
