The second of Qatar Summer Festival (QSF)’s three raffle draws was held at Mall of Qatar last Thursday, with nine winners walking away with QR400,000 in cash prizes.
Five shoppers won QR20,000 each, two got QR50,000 each and two more persons received QR100,000 each, Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) said in a statement yesterday. QSF kicked off on June 15 and visitors and residents still have a chance to win by shopping or dining at any of the festival’s 12 mall partners.
For every QR200 spent at any of the participating retailers or restaurants, shoppers can enter one of the festival’s remaining raffle draw for a chance to win a Lamborghini Huracan supercar and 16 cash prizes ranging from QR20,000 to QR100,000.
QSF’s participating malls include Al Khor Mall, Al Mirqab Mall, B Square Mall, Dar Al Salam Mall, Doha Festival City, Gulf Mall, Hyatt Plaza, Landmark Mall, Lagoona Mall, Mall of Qatar and Ezdan Malls (Al Gharafa and Al Wakrah).The second raffle draw winners are as follows: QR20,000 – voucher number 240116, 292242, 299425, 236476 and 36572; QR50,000 – voucher number 240839 and 190033; and QR100,000 – voucher number 220072 and 11482.
In addition to the in-mall shopping offers and discounts, QSF is once again partnering with The Social Studio to bring the Doha Comedy Festival to bring roars of laughter to audiences in Qatar.
The show, headlined by American superstar comedian Gabriel ‘Fluffy’ Iglesias and featuring Alfred Robles, will be hosted by Qatar’s very own comedian Hamad al-Amari.
It is set to take place at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) on August 17.
Tickets are still available in Silver, Gold and Platinum categories for QR95, QR145 and QR245, respectively. Tickets in the Royal and VIP categories have sold out.
QSF 2018’s third and final draw will be held at Doha Festival City on the last day of the 11-week festival (August 31). On that day, eight winners will walk away with a total of QR350,000 and a Lamborghini Huracan (2018 model) luxury supercar.
