How do you navigate your way around Doha’s restaurants and hidden gems? You seek out the advice of a food addict and if there’s one thing Doha isn’t short of its food bloggers – and I’m guilty of being one too (more of that later).

You’ll spot us in restaurants around town allowing food to go cold while we snap the perfect picture to post. We’re helping you navigate your way around Doha’s many restaurants, find the best value business lunch, the ultimate brunch, and most importantly where to avoid sloppy service and forgettable food. We’re expanding our waistlines and our food knowledge because we can’t pass up the chance to take a new food adventure and we’re always eager to share that with you.

Here's our favourites:

Boulangerry – Gerald’s pretty photos and witty words make me a little envious that I didn’t write them myself. He’ll ensure you’re hooked on reading more about what he’s tucked into.

2.PNG

Hungry Birds Doha – Details. That’s what’s to love here. Prices. Names of dishes. And a thorough review. You really feel like you’ve experienced the restaurant yourself.

3.PNG

Lemon and Mint – Shameless plug of the blog that my husband and I created. We bring you our loves (the mints) and the lemons (sucky places to avoid), and we love nothing more than sharing some places that aren’t on your radar.

4.PNG

Life on the Wedge – Written with great candor, Rachel is on top of all the newest restaurants and menus in town and gives you an insight into where you need to try.

5.PNG

Kathryn’s Doha Dinners – Kathyrn focuses on her experience. The ambience, the service and what’s on offer. She keeps it regularly updated so you get to find out about new offers in D-town.

6.PNG

Qatar Eats – Raechelle’s blog is homely and helpful. She shares her latest bakes and recipes and also gives you an insight to the restaurants and events she’s attended.

Qatar Eating – This is a great blog for all the latest foodie news. The annual award winners. The latest festival. And new openings in Doha.

7.PNG

Pinay Flying High – Great photography and honest details that get to the heart of the matter, such as would you eat here again. There doesn’t seem to be a place that Noemi hasn't tried.

8.PNG

Tami Tales – Along side book reviews and day trip experiences I like the fact that Tami’s blog has everyday restaurant reviews in there too. Great finds like Mr. Taco and lesser mentioned restaurants are shared with you.

The Snapped Fork – Sara not only shares her food experiences; she generously shares her everyday and the journey that’s led her to Qatar.

Have we left anyone off? Please share your favourite recipe-sharing blogs with us and we’ll bring you a round up of our go-to list soon.
