Ministry of Education tells public schools to improve quality of education and outputs

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education called upon the principals and directors of public schools to pay attention to the quality of education and improve its outputs to enable students to compete in the world's top universities.

His Excellency Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of the effective role of the school leadership in the development of the educational process as he addressed the extensive consultative meetings held by the Ministry of Education for two days for directors and principles of public schools.

His Excellency praised the performance of school principals and directors, and praised their performance and efforts in enhancing the educational process, pointing out that they represent the best scientific and administrative competencies.

The aim of these meetings is to enhance communication, and consultation with the principals and directors of schools on how to lead education in the ministry, and the mechanism of assessing the work in all transparency and objectivity, in addition to reviewing opportunities and options, administrative and academic challenges facing daily work in schools and how to overcome these challenges.

The meetings also aimed at planning and preparing work programs and training and rehabilitation curricula on a scientific basis, in addition to how to strengthen communication with parents and other parties, and to identify the best ways to improve the education process.

In his meetings with the principals and directors of schools, His Excellency stressed the importance of dealing with students with special needs and integrating them into schools, calling for dealing gently with the workers' groups in the school, stressing the importance of celebrating the World Workers' Day in each school, which falls on May 1 and to recognize the worker's role.

His Excellency noted that the Ministry of Education represents the official body entrusted to highlight the cultural and educational face of Qatar, adding that in order to achieve this goal, the ministry has always made sincere and effective efforts to implement educational programs and projects making Qatar one of the world's leading country in the educational and academic field and in order to achieve the directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

His Excellency also called for enhancing continuous communication between the ministry and its employees on the one hand, and the public on the other, and developing communication through activities.

His Excellency added that the Ministry is developing plans, policies and strategies and trains concerned parties to implement an integrated educational system to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030, which is based on the development of an advanced society capable of achieving sustainable development.

His Excellency added that the ministry has taken advanced steps within the framework of Qatar National Vision and the directives of His Highness the Amir through the completion of educational projects in increasing the number of schools and diversifying them and attracting the best educational competencies of teachers and academics and building many sports, training and educational facilities.

During the consultative meetings, an educational dialogue was launched in which principals and directors of schools discussed many issues with the Ministry officials who responded to their questions and inquiries. (QNA)
