Schools, kindergartens and higher education institutions can operate at 100% capacity: Ministry

For the fifth year in a row, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education has launched the Tamkeen Training Programme (Educational Empowerment Programme) for new teachers for the academic year 2019/2020, and is the first program of its training and educational development center for teachers.

In order to ensure the quality of the training process, the Training and Educational Development Center works annually to develop and improve the training programmes in all technical and cognitive aspects, which is reflected in the quality of the training outcome, in cooperation with the relevant departments of education.

This year, separate training has been provided for the administrative staff of the laboratory, academic, social and psychological specialists, IT technicians, special educators and learning resource officials.

The programme aims to provide new teachers and administrators with the necessary information and skills to start work in a new environment and to raise awareness about a range of subjects related to their work before joining and starting their duties.

The importance of introducing such programs to enable teachers and new administrators to facilitate their integration into the school environment in the country.
