H.E. Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohammed Abdul Wahed Ali Al Hammadi has praised the performance of students of 70 countries for the Science Olympiad test for young people in the State of Qatar, each in his own language, commending the efforts made by the Scientific Committee in developing and translating the tests.

HE the Minister said in a press statement during his visit yesterday to the Qatar National Convention Centre, where the international Science Olympiad tests for young people 2019 are held in its sixteenth edition, hosted by the State of Qatar this year, under the slogan of "motivating today's generation for tomorrow's skills".

HE the Minister said that holding of these tests in Qatar is a pride, and appreciated the role of the oraginizing committee in providing logistical support and creating the environment and academic climate for students to take the tests and meet all their requirements.

He also viewed test paper and was satisfied with its performance by more than 400 students representing 70 countries.

For his part, HE Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the International Science Olympiad for Young students, praised in a press statement the good preparation and organization of the tests, and appreciated the careful follow-up by the officials, especially the supervising scientific teams, and said that he found during his visit to the examination hall, that the test is clear to all students of all nationalities, wishing them all success in their performance.

Fawzia Abdulaziz Al-Khater, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for Educational Affairs commended the organization of the testing process, and said that they were going according to set plans .
