KidZania Doha, a world leading children edutainment brand, brought together international education experts to discuss the latest approach to improve teaching and learning processes at the third edition of EduZummit 2023 at KidZania Doha on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Held under the theme ‘Future of the Classroom’, the event provided a platform for educators to share expertise and experiences about the evolving trends in teaching and learning approaches to empower children as the future innovative thought leaders and producers in line with the human capital development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030.

In her opening remark, Hela Guedoir, Head of Sales at KidZania Doha, said: “How can we as educators, schools, and carers help kids develop new skills to solve challenging demands, collaborate effectively, and express ideas beyond tools, technology, and the walls of a classroom? How can we make an impact in their lives and their future? We, at KidZania Doha take responsibility to continuously spread knowledge to the community and prepare the next generation for careers and challenges that don’t yet exist.”

Keynote speaker at the summit Dr. Ger Graus OBE, Global Education Adviser, First Global Director of Education, KidZania, and Founding CEO of Children's University, sheds light on the emerging education methodologies and changing needs of students in the educational environment. He stressed the need to employ advanced technologies in teaching the children in order to ensure that they are well equipped to meet the future job market demands.

“Not all classrooms have four walls. The environment is the third teacher. There is no better place for children to learn to think for themselves and work with others than KidZania, where learning is fun, and where children are in charge and don't receive prefabricated wisdom but learn to question the established wisdom of our times,” he said.
