In addition to the core subjects of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, the curriculum includes Elective courses such as Art, IT, Music, Physical Education, Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, and Qatar History.

Multiple options for school transportation

The school has a wide-reaching bus service that serves 28+ locations in Al Wakra and Doha. Each bus has a bus conductor, CCTV and a dedicated phone for parent contact.

In addition, both GEMS Education Qatar schools are the first schools to partner with Qatar Rail on a dedicated shuttle bus from Ras Bu Fontas station to school. Now, GAAQ is no more than 30 - 35 minutes away from any metropolitan Doha rail station. Lastly, families can opt to bring their students to school or carpool with a neighboring family.

Spring Fair 2020 [NOTICE: EVENT POSTPONED INDEFINITELY]

Due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control, the school has decided to POSTPONE the Spring Fair indefinitely.

GAAQ’s popular annual Spring Fair is happening on Friday, March 6th from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
Coordinated by the Parent Association and the Parent Relations Executive, the Spring Fair offers an array of different games and activities, a vendor bazaar, musical and dance performances (various student performances and different selections by IAID), arts & crafts and a flock of diverse food vendors (including, but not limited to, McDonald’s, Tiger Cookies, Pizza Box and Exit 55).

Entry tickets are only 5 QAR per person and children 2 years old and below are free. Bring the family together for GAAQ’s Spring Fair because lasting memories are made around food, fun, and games!
