The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has provided some ease to parents of students studying in the various private schools and kindergartens in Qatar by issuing a circular that first term fees for the next academic year 2020/2021 don’t need to be paid till schools resume in September. However, they should pay the reservation fee which will be adjusted in the first term fee, to ensure their children continue to have a place in their school in the new school year, according to the Al Watan newspaper which quoted a ministerial circular that was issued.

If the reservation fee is not paid, the child may lose their seat in the school, which will then be given to a child on the waiting list.

The private schools and kindergartens management to give parents, at least, two weeks to pay the reservation fees from the day they issue the circular to pay the seat reservation fees.
