The management of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) has decided to continue studying through the virtual education and distance education platforms as of Wednesday, according to the current study plans and its schedule.
DI stated that this decision came in line with the announcement by the Government Communication Office on the suspension of public and private schools and universities for all students in Qatar, within the framework of efforts and measures taken by the state to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Institute added that the information technology department has organized special sessions for training on the use of virtual education platforms for members of the academic and administrative bodies, and the DI's administration has contacted students and provided them with the necessary details in this regard.
The institute had announced in a previous announcement that all its employees and members of its teaching staff continue to work as usual, in addition to taking several measures and recommendations for its members, including not traveling except for the most urgent necessity, and spreading awareness messages about the methods of preventing the spread coronavirus. The institute also recommended to all its members that they should adhere to health instructions and guidelines to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
