The Public Works Authority has completed the Community College of Qatar for Girls in the Al Kheesa area. The facility includes a four-level building in a vast campus with multi-purpose rooms at a built area of 27,000 square meters.
The new building provides facilities for study and for practicing all activities that serve the educational process and provides a rich learning environment.
M. Ahmed Al-Emadi, Head of Educational Projects Department said:
Along with CCQ, has implemented CCQ for girls in Al Kheesa to meet the increasing student capacity & provide distinguished services in education, culture, recreation, environment & sports.
The college has diverse classrooms & lecture halls, IT labs, workshops, meeting rooms, training centre & a recreational centre, a library, a bookstore and others
Eng. Obaid Rashid Al Athba, Head of Engineering Support Section stated:
All works were carried out in line with local and int’l standards, taking about 1.8 million manhours without lost-time injuries thanks to Ashghal’s safety measures taken to ensure workers’ safety.
