DBS Al Wakra just completed refurbishment of some of its facilities because it wants to provide its students with an environment where they can prosper, benefit and thrive in the midst of a first-class education. Rooms and corridors have been upgraded. An all-weather football pitch in has been developed and a new surface has been added on the basketball court.

Throughout the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Qatar, the management of DBS Al Wakra and its teachers have worked hard to make sure students continue to receive the same high-quality teaching and learning they had before the pandemic. Now, as directed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the school has developed a blended learning model - a combination of virtual and in-person learning, so all the students can continue receiving an outstanding education.
