PATHWAYS TO TOMORROW BUILD YOUR CHILDS FUTURE TODAY

ACS International School Doha is hosting its "Pathways to Tomorrow" seminar on Sunday, May 22 to launch its exciting breadth of High School pathway options to get students ready for university and future careers.

The event is open to current and prospective parents and takes place at ACS Doha’s landmark Al Kheesa campus from 18:00 to 20:00.

The seminar will demonstrate how the academic pathway options are tailored to suit a student’s interests and abilities while raising their academic performance and maximizing their potential.

ACS Doha currently offers students the opportunity to study globally-recognized and rigorous programmes with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and Career-related Programme; Advanced Placement (AP) courses, a US programme offering college-level curricula and exams to High School students, as well as the US High School Diploma.

Teachers and curriculum advisors will be available to offer advice and will be joined by representatives from universities, who will discuss how the various pathways affect the university selection process and placements, exam and academic tutoring support options with Millie Group, and BridgeU, as well as Morrisby that uses psychometric assessments and questionnaires to offer recommendations for careers and subjects. Customized workshops, group discussion sessions, and an introduction to the school's educational and pastoral personnel are all available for attendees of the event, allowing them to fully explore their child’s pathway to a brighter future.

The event also introduces the new academic and pastoral support structure for middle-high school and offers parents an opportunity to meet with them and discuss the pathways and academic goals tailored to each child.

Leading the team is Jeff Holcomb, who joins ACS Doha as a Middle High School Principal, from the International School of Beijing. Jeff is joined by Elhussein Elsharif, from ACS Doha’s sister school in the UK, ACS Cobham, as Assistant Principal, Pastoral.

Bringing a wealth of experience to their new roles and completing the team are Washiela Casper, MYP/AP Pathway Coordinator, and Sereen Saadi, DP/CP Coordinator, both of whom are current ACS Doha teachers.

ACS Pathways to Tomorrow will be held at the Theater on Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 18:00 to 20:00. To register your interest in attending, please call +974 4474 9000, or email [email protected].
