Dana Al Fardan
The name Al Fardan is very familiar to almost everyone in Qatar. However, a name to remember in Dana Al Fardan – the one who made DNA Records the real deal. Not only is she the first female English artist in Qatar, she launched the first record label company here and we applaud her creativity. Her company is new so we always have something fresh from her end. Inspired by her daughter Layla, Dana is making dreams come true for not only local but international artists as well. Using her knowledge and talent, Dana has become the music change that Qatar needed.

Elsbeth Blekkenhorst
The woman behind Global Women Qatar, Elsbeth Blekkenhorst shifted to Qatar and saw how difficult it was for people to locate the ideal jobs. Since she had the insight to how things can be in certain cultures and had adapted to various changes in her past she knew she had to become the change. The Global Women Qatar started as a program that helps locals and expatriates find jobs in Qatar and introduced them to vast network of professionals. Since the launch of the platform, GWQ has helped a number of women from different nationalities find suitable careers in diverse industries.
Noora AlAmri
Noura AlAmri has always been passionate about tourism and travelling and she started organizing trips in 2006. 8 years later, she started her own business, Tartebkum, which changed the perspective on tourism for Arab women. Focusing on local women and children to have the ideal tours overseas; Noura has this company as her side business. The company gives a safe environment for women to travel and explore the world as planned by Noora.
