Talabat donates to earthquake victims turkiye syria

talabat, one of the region's leading local tech platforms has launched two campaigns as part of its #techforgood commitment to its communities, as immediate emergency relief support to victims in Türkiye and Syria, following the tragic earthquakes earlier this week. This comes as part of the company’s commitment to bringing a positive impact and supporting communities in need, and here is how everyone using the talabat platform in Qatar can help make a difference and support those affected in Türkiye and Syria:

Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS): For immediate donations through Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), customers can search ‘Qatar Red Crescent’ in the talabat app and select ‘Emergency Relief Turkey and Syria Earthquake’ to donate directly to the urgent cause.

Qatar Charity: To support relief efforts while ordering from restaurants, talabat users can select ‘Turkey and Syria’ on the main menu and order from any restaurant within the selection. Upon every successful order, talabat will donate 1 QAR to aid the victims affected by the earthquake, via Qatar Charity.

Francisco Miguel De Sousa, Managing Director of talabat Qatar said:

“New campaigns are coming. Right now, in response to the tragic events that took place in Turkey and Syria, it is touching to see the community in Qatar come together to stand behind the earthquake victims. Alongside our partners Qatar Red Crescent and Qatar Charity, we are proud to do our part within our global community and reach those whose lives have been unimaginably impacted by this tragedy.”

Customers can download the talabat application through the iOS App Store, Google Play store, and Huawei App Gallery.
