Talabat, the region’s leading food delivery and q-commerce platform, dedicated its app towards giving back during Ramadan. After tying up with over 15 charities across the markets it operates in, talabat customers were able to give back to a number of different causes through the app. With the promise of being always there for those in need, Talabat facilitated the value of 51,337 meals donations in Qatar.

In Qatar, Talabat partnered with Qatar Charity to create specially curated Ramadan menus, through which customers could donate Iftar meals to offer assistance to those in need. The dedicated “Giving back” banner inside the talabat app has seen a surge in customers’ donations, with a daily record of QR 49,000 raised on May 7 alone, with a total of 620,000 QR for Qatar Charity during the whole Ramadan period, an increase of 210% compared to last year.

Consumers can now download talabat on the iOS App Store or Google Play Store to donate to a range of causes.
