Sudani expat Merghani Ali Hussein has been missing from his home since 30 July 2020. He was last seen in a dark grey Sudani thobe and a white Sudani hat last Thursday as he left his home to pray in the nearby mosque. When he didn't come home after the prayer, his family searched from him everywhere, but he was nowhere to be found.

67-year-old Merghani has Alzheimer's Disease, and the family believe he must have forgotten his way home and wandered off. The authorities have been notified about the disappearance of Merghani, but they haven't been able to find him yet.

I talked to Hassan Mohammed who told me Merghani is his grandfather (his father's uncle) and has still had not been found.
Some people reported seeing Merghani after his picture was circulated on social media. in Al Rayyan 4-5 days ago but when his family got to the spot, he wasn't there anymore.

This morning, Merghani was spotted opposite Aspire However, when his family arrived in both places, he was nowhere to be found.

We urge all of you out there - our ILQ fam - to please keep a lookout for Merghani, and if you do spot him or someone who seems like him, please immediately contact Hassan Mohammed on +974 3367 1823, send a message to @therealjailey, or contact us on our social media platforms given below.

This is a developing story and we will inform you if we receive any updates.
