You’ve heard of “man & machine” – its never been more true than in the context of a motorcycle and its rider – its an extension

Lucky enough to meet the Soul Riders, they quickly embraced me into their group, bike or no bike, simply by sheer love of a Harley.

Soul riders MC is a Qatari Club, founded and established in 2012 by a group of 7 riders.

An iconic Motorcycle club in the GCC region, has become one of the major stakeholders in the biggest charity bike show in Qatar. With members from Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, USA and Holland is gaining support from across the globe.

Apart from their weekly rides exploring historical sights in Qatar, they support community events as well as create initiatives such as Soul Riders Motor bike training, collaborate with the ISF and the traffic department in promoting road safety to creating awareness for events such as the Heir Apparent cup, Tour of Qatar, World Kidney Day, World Diabetes Day, World Autism Awareness Day, Qatar Red Crescent, Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

Soul Riders also contribute to the summer water distribution to the communities, Ramadan Iftar Distribution.

This group of amazing human beings, also propagate respect, tolerance and unity at all their family outings and constantly exploring ways to make a difference!

A lot of folks don't seem to understand, Harley riders don't care how fast someone else's bike will go. It's the cruise, the sound, the feeling, and friendships formed. One of the aspects that was so evident was the feeling of camaraderie not just with friends, but with all other riders on the road.

You might ask, "What does it feel like?"

It's unlike anything else that you'll ever feel. The closest thing I might equate it to is poetry in motion.

Until someone can say I've been there and done that then it's only speculation….

Motorcycling invokes a lot of senses that are almost never engaged during other

forms of transportation.

Perhaps some details might help paint the picture;

Everything comes pouring in to your eyeballs with no limitations.

You will feel every nuance of weather. Temperature. Moisture. Everything.

The combination of fear, exhilaration, relaxation, and pleasure all at once.

The wind, your bike, it all combines into this generic sound all the while your mind trying to make sense of it. Turning it into music like you've never heard before.

Best of all ... You're in the scene, not just watching it, the sense of presence is overwhelming. An unforgettable experience.

“My words are just words of a passenger. So I say to you, go forth and get thee on a Harley….”
