Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel Welcomes Two New Executive Chefs at AlMaskar and La Veranda Restaurants

Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, the 5 star luxury hotel in Doha, announces the appointments of Chef Angelos-Theodoros Kallinteris and Chef Alessandro Colageo as the two new Chefs de Cuisine.


Chef Kallinteris and Chef Colageo bring more than 15 years of international experience to their role, having worked with some of the highly regarded hotel chains, lends an added dimension of interest and acclaim to Sheraton’s iconic hotel.


In his role as Chef de Cuisine, Chef Kallinteris will bring new culinary ideas by incorporating Greek influences and local ingredients in the hotel’s seafood Mediterranean food and beverage concept. Meanwhile, Chef Colageo as Chef de Cuisine cooking style is defined by assimilating flavours, freshest and finest quality ingredients to fuse Italian techniques that preserves texture of the dishes.

Chef Kallinteris said, “I am excited about my new association with the Sheraton Doha and look forward to working with the team on further strengthening the popularity of this iconic restaurant. Through my experiences I have become well versed in a variety of food techniques, and I look forward to bringing what I've learnt to the all-new seafood AlMaskar restaurant."

“Food is not only my career, it’s my passion,” said Chef Colageo. “I look forward to collaborating with the team to take the Italian cuisine at La Veranda to new heights.” He added, “I use the best local ingredients and combine those with the Italian products, allowing me to retain the true Italian flavor in my cooking."
