The Al Raya newspaper reported on 18 July 2022, that the Department of Natural Reserves at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change have closed the Sealine Family Beach until further notice for maintenance.
It was also reported that all commercial kiosks and stalls have been removed to facilitate the development and rehabilitation of the area.
Authorities are expediting the maintenance work as it was carried out without prior warning and it is a highly popular beach.
