What makes Qatar special is the tapestry of cultures that support its modern framework, rooted in the Arab tradition. For a relatively small nation, its population stands at 2.57 million, with people from all over the world choosing to make Qatar their home – bringing with them their unique perspectives, culture, cuisine, and skills to complement the Qatari way of life that welcomes them here.
A new locally-based video channel is hero-ing that strength in our diversity by showcasing the faces and stories of the people who make up our vibrant community. Qatarna TV is a ‘new-era social channel’ created by home-grown production house Boom Productions, and features interview profiles with locals and expats to learn about their life in Qatar and what Qatar means to them.
Other segments include snapshots of culture in Qatar, current events, exploring modern Doha, and the nature of Qatar’s vast desert.
