Qatar Tourism announced that it will continue offering free and complimentary in-person Service Excellence training courses to target 5,000 frontline service professionals working in hotels and tourism companies. The training is designed to equip visitor-facing staff and leaders in the tourism sector with the skills required to deliver a truly memorable visitor experience.

In a statement issued Wednesday, Qatar Tourism said that more than 510 service professionals have received the training, with plans to train more than 5,000 customer-facing staff and managers in hotel establishments and tourism companies by November 2022. The sessions, which started on October 2, 2022, are taking place at Grand Hyatt Doha every day, excluding Fridays, and will run until November 3, 2022.

Member of Qatar Tourism's Service Excellence team Moza Al Meadadi said that Qatar Tourism is delighted at the momentum and interest that its Service Excellence training programmes have gained since its inception through holding in-person training sessions, and is able to actively engage with service professionals in Qatar to ensure they have the skills needed to deliver a truly memorable visitor experience.

Qatar Tourism Service Excellence Programme involves a multi-pronged approach to ensure a seamless customer journey. In collaboration with stakeholders, Qatar Tourism evaluates frontline professionals across sectors and offers training and certifications to ensure the highest standard of professional service for visitors.
