In an effort to ensure that foreigners assimilate to Qatari society, a new 'Qatari Starter Pack' has been launched. The goal being to encourage more expats to blend in with Qatari society.

Speaking to ILQ, Mr. Ghashmarah said, 'We believe that not enough people are making the effort to understand how life is in Qatar, so this mandatory starter pack will help people to see the Qatari side.'. Adding that 'we even made it affordable for them to buy.'.

Sipping on his free Karak, Mr. Joe Kerman was delighted with the new Packs, now commonly called, QSPs. "I now feel like a real bonefide Qatari. My bank account is a bit smaller though since it was mandatory for me to buy a new car though. At least I sit up so high above the road I can see what's going on.".

Not everyone was pleased with the new decision. On condition of anonymity, a woman shared that she didn't like having to wrap a headset around her face while on the phone and prefered to use bluetooth. She also about complained not having enough space in her bag to carry a sword.

People can now purchase their QSPs when renewing their visas. The total cost is 289,490 QR. Questions and concerns can be forwarded to no-one. April fools! Hope you had a good read! Don't forget to check out QTips to learn about Qatari Culture!
