In Qatar, and everywhere else in the world, people always get power outages. What to do, what to do?
Well, we’re going to help you think of things you would like to do when you don’t have power.
1: Have face-to-face conversations with your friends and families
People these days usually email and phone-message friends and families rather than enjoy real-life physical conversation. Well, take this opportunity to actually talk face-to-face. By having a face-to-face conversation you can see how the person is truly feeling and what they are thinking about.
2: Go chill outside
In Qatar, it can get a little stuffy if you are in a house or an apartment with no air conditioning. Well, step outside for a while, enjoy the natural heat of Qatar in the summers and enjoy the breeze in the winters.
3: Gather around a candle
If it’s too cold to step outside, gather around a lighting candle and share scary ghost stories. It’s always nice to feel a bit scared during a power outage.
4: Picnic at a park
If you get a power outage in the day, make some cold sandwiches and head out to a park. That way you can eat the food in your fridge and not worry about it getting spoiled and you can enjoy some nice cold snacks in the park with friends and families.
5: Head to the desert
If you get a power outage on the weekend, grab your camping gear and head out to the desert. You can camp, go dune bashing and if the weather is hot, you can chill on the beach.
BUT then again, we do live in Qatar, where you have cellular data and a place where you can go to the city and stay at a hotel – where the electricity is likely running.
