After being honoured with a runner-up award in the Unsung Hero category at the recent Hotelier Middle East Awards and being featured in several local English news dailies in Doha, Hezron Jeremiah Onyango, laundry attendant at the InterContinental Doha The City, was personally presented a certificate of recognition from Philippine Ambassador to Qatar Crescente R. Relacion for donating his entire one month’s salary to help the families of his fellow workers from the Philippines victimized by typhoon Haiyan.
The presentation of the certificate of recognition was held on December 17 during an all-colleague meeting at InterContinental Doha The City.
