The Ooredoo Community, which was unveiled at the opening day of QITCOM in Doha, has received a positive launch response in Qatar, with over a 338,000 page views, and over 1,000 members registered in under three months.

Since the launch of the Ooredoo Community, a new online forum for Ooredoo customers, on average more than 10,000 people view the website for solutions every week, demonstrating its customer service potential for Ooredoo users in Qatar.

The Ooredoo Community is Qatar’s first dedicated customer forum, and offers a space for customers to ask and answer questions with a community of members, provides 24/7 access to information for customers, and enables members to talk to Ooredoo staff directly.

Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director of Community & Public Relations, Ooredoo, said: “The Ooredoo Community was designed to give our customers more from our services, more information, more control and a better customer experience. The growing community members and amount of solution views, show us that this is a service our customers want and need, and we intend to continue to develop and enhance the forum as it grows.”

The Ooredoo community was launched as a way to enhance customer experience, and to ensure that finding solutions for problems is as easy and quick as possible for Ooredoo customers.

The forum currently has a host of regular contributors from the public, as well as thousands of visitors a day, who search and add to the growing 148 accepted solutions. Ooredoo staff members are also present on the Ooredoo Community, and act as a point of reference for any technical queries, as well as monitor for correct and incorrect information in posts.

Topics on the forum currently range from Hala and Shahry services, Fibre updates, promotions, ongoing offers and international calling value, to hints and tips on housework, as well as invites and help for online gaming.

Customers using the community so far have been able to access a range of answers and solutions from both experts and fellow customers alike, offering a service far beyond the scope of a standard call centre.

New users, or people looking for a solution can search the Ooredoo Community, as it stores and organises answers on key topics, so that members will be able to access the full database of knowledge.
