Looking to satisfy your cravings for delectable Asian food? Neo can definitely accommodate! The ILQ team tried out Neo’s new menu and enjoyed every dish! Located on Salwa Road across the Nissan Showroom, Neo emanates a casual yet sophisticated vibe. Lovers of sushi and Thai curries, you should certainly head down to Neo and indulge your tastebuds (caution: they may be on fire after).

We started with salads. We had the Crispy Chinese Chicken Salad, and the Grilled Beef Spicy Salad. The chicken was glazed and tasted like duck, which a lot of us found awesome. It had an amazing blend of flavor, texture, and taste, and is definitely worth mentioning. The beef salad was my personal preference, maybe because I’m a huge fan of spicy food. The taste of lemongrass made the beef salad. It was a perfect combination of spicy and sweet, I’d go back for more for sure!

The entrees arrived once we finished the salads. We tried the Baked Glass Noodles with Shrimp, the Spicy Thai Fish served in Red Curry, and the Thai Green Chicken Curry served with Jasmine Rice. Both the curry dishes were phenomenal, particularly if you’re a fan of Thai cuisine. The red curry is the spicier one of course, but the green curry was the favorite. Again the lemongrass was a vital, and flavorful, ingredient that complemented the green curry. The glass noodles were also really good, especially if you're a noodle lover. They had a tangy taste, and the shrimp was cooked well.

After the entrees we had a variety of sushi maki rolls (names TBA as they're new creations). My personal favorite was this one particular roll that had avocados on the outside and this delicious spicy sauce on top. It was delicious! I like to think of myself as a sushi aficionado, so this is a definite must-try!

For dessert, the all-around best one was the Focaccia Bread with Vanilla Ice Cream. It wasn't too sweet and had a yummy cinnamon-y taste. Everyone loved it!
