The Qatar Foundation for Social Action's Social Development Centre (Nama) marked the International Youth Day, which falls on the 12th of August of each year, and its theme this year is "Transforming education". On this occasion, Nama organized workshops and training courses on the importance of education and reviewing the experiences of successful countries, in addition to challenges facing young people in the field of education. The workshops were presented by a number of Nama trainers in cooperation with Barzan Youth Center. Since 2017, the center has been contributing to the empowerment of young people in Qatar in line with the aspirations of the State of Qatar and its wise leadership, acting director of communication and information at Nama Hamad Al Marri. This, he said, is through a number of programs, including the Reyada Award, the fifth edition of which was announced recently, which targets Qatari entrepreneurs, in addition to the Sama Nama program for the development of social entrepreneurs, which is held over several stages and its third batch will be graduated in December. Since 2013, Nama has been operating under the umbrella of the Qatar Foundation for Social Action and it is a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
