Mowasalat is all set to host the Annual event on Road/Traffic/Driving safety in name and style of “Ensuring safe mobility of people & goods during major events in Qatar", from 26^th to 28^th of November 2019 at the Traffic Department Auditorium. This event is under the Kind Patronage of Minister of Transport & Communications, H.E. Jassim Bin Saif Al Sulaiti, collaborating with International Road Transport Union, National Safety Committee and Traffic Department, Qatar. A series of presentations from National and International road safety and mobility experts and practitioners covering the latest ideas with regards to "education, governance and engineering with respect to road and vehicles”.

Day 1, the 26^th will be a Seminar, covering National safety vision, policies, Mobility challenges for WC 2022, industry trends and innovative solutions. Day 2, the 27^th will be a Workshop on government challenges in enabling safe mobility, developments and latest industry standards in transporting dangerous goods ending with the “Youth forum” addressing career prospects in the road transport & logistics industry and driving the talent management sector which provides abundant career and business opportunities. The third and last day the 28^th will be a technical visit to the Hamad seaport and witness the phenomenal progress and development, adaptation of industry best practices and innovation.

The Principal and Patron of this event, Ministry of Transport & Communications is the champion acceding to key United National global road transport conventions in establishing high-level transport standards and international best practices. In addition, the new laws and legislation regulating and organizing land transport and transportation of dangerous goods by road are set to get implemented soon with the aim to increase transport effectiveness, security and safety.
