In an effort to help 2nd Chance Rescue Qatar, active elementary students from

Middle East International School supervised by Ms.Mana Kalek and spearheaded

by their school captain;Mitz Calsado held a pet food drive from April 10 to 17,2016

under the flag of MIS Elementary Giving Society, a student run organization in their

school that promote and support community service.

Students were asked to offer canned and bagged dog and cat food donations for

abandoned animals and on April 20, all collected goods were dropped off at the

Park View Center and entrusted to Ms. Amy, (2nd Chance Rescue Farm

Manager),accompanied with their school captain for the boys; Alief Rama and the very

supportive Mitz's mom Karylle.Mitz first steps as a animal lover began when she visited the farm along with her family and dealing with the guilt and grief after seeing the

situation of our furry friends at the farm,she then channeled her thoughts to her

supervisor Ms. Mana and gave her hand's up.
