The Ministry of Municipality and Environment and Souq Waqif will organize the Dates Exhibition to offer a variety of dates with the participation of local farms. Visitors can explore a wide variety of locally grown dates at the exhibition which will open on 16 October 2019. You can access to the exhibition daily from 3 pm to 10 pm until 26 October.

Along with fresh dates, the exhibition also aims to offer other products made from dates, such as mouthwatering chocolate coated dates, date balls, dates with dried fruits and nuts and date candies in addition to date paste and date syrup. Dried and preserved dates in different varieties packed in attractive gift boxes were also among the bestsellers in the previous dates festival.

Local Dates exhibition is aimed at promoting home-grown products by providing local producers with a platform to market their goods and reach newer consumers.

The previous edition of the dates festival attracted hundreds of buyers to dozens of stalls that witness tonnes of fresh dates sold every day. A similar kind of success is also expected for the upcoming exhibition.
