A great way to keep your teenager busy is to have them volunteer at one of the animal rescue shelters here in Qatar. They are always on the lookout for volunteers to help with the animals there and it's a great way to get your teenager involved in socially responsible activities. The 2nd Chance Rescue is open for volunteers to walk the dogs and spend time with the other animals. And, if your teenager takes some food donations with them, the rescue shelter will be more than happy as they need all the help they can get.

Young adults’ services and online resources

The Qatar National Library (QNL) has plenty of online resources for teenagers, especially since the library is closed at the moment due to COVID-19 restrictions. Your teenager can log in and find plenty of ebooks, magazine, resources, audiobooks, movies, etc. to keep them busy and engaged. There is lots to choose from.
