Industrial laborers benefit from HERO Qatar Medical Mission

Some 500 patients benefitted medical services in a one-day Medical Mission of H.E.R.O Qatar on Sept.2,2016 at the Trabag-Zublin Accomodation in Industrial area.

The successful mission with the theme “ One Team, One Mission - Our Legacy of Care Continues” was in collaboration with the Qatar Red Crescent, Filipino Medical Association in Qatar, Philippine Nurses Association in Qatar, Bayanihan ng Manggagawa sa Konstruksyon sa Qatar (BMKQ),United Filipino Organizations in Qatar (UFOQ) ,Alliance of Filipino Journalist in Qatar (AFJQ)

Balitang Q,Pinoy Heart Radio Qatar,Akhro Qatar National Chapter,Doha Shutter Bugz,Blink Qatar, Bol-Anon Qatar Association,United Bicolano N' Qatar, Strabag-Zublin Qatar, D' Fri3ndz ,Eve Catering & Services,Hero Kids Musikero.

H.E.R.O. Qatar aimed to extend and share blessings to co- Filipino’s & Expats by providing basic health services and preventive health care.

The procedures included:

Height, weight, body mass index (BMI)
Cardiovascular examination (heart check, blood pressure, pulse)
Respiratory examination
Blood Sugar Test

In addition to the free medical check-up and treatment, Philippine Association of Pharmacist in Qatar provided free vitamins and medicines for common illnesses.

“We’re overwhelmed by the support of all the professional doctors, nurses, aiders, sand volunteers. We’re also thankful for the rest of our partners and sponsors today in making this activity a success,”said Mr. Henry Dimaano,HERO Qatar Founding Chairman.

HERO PresidentKentry Beltran Ayson was also thankful of the mission’s positive outcome and he added that their team will continue to provide services to compassionate healthcare on their plan calendar.

After the medical mission, a award ceremony were held to give plaque to all the partners and sponsors to show appreciation to their lasting contribution.

H.E.R.O. Qatar has been granted the CERTIFICATION OF RECOGNITION, with number 150-2015 dated 9th February, 2015, which states "H.E.R.O. Qatar, is a non-profit organization with the purpose to build a strong support group and solid foundation for the welfare of distressed OFWs to uplift their current situation and to help the Filipino community in Qatar and in the Philippines".
