The 9th Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition is back and it is surely one of the best ones they have had yet. Coming forth with Islamic and Arabian designs with a twist, fashion bloggers, experts, fashion enthusiasts come together to celebrate with this exhibition. From workshops to fashion shows, Heya is all about women and don’t we just love that! Exhibitors range from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain to UAE and Qatar; it is a little something for everyone.

The event is all about women as entrepreneurs and sheds positive light towards the new opportunities that are available for them. A few names of the exhibitors include Wings Collection, Al Dukan, Debaj. M Jay Design, Haifa Fahad, Jo LaMode, Randoushka, Qatar Chambers, D’Oro, Nigwah, Alhamra, Paridhi, Loomzi and so on. The fashion show sheds light into the dynamics of fashion as you see the ramp loaded in colors and different ways to experiment with the abaya as well. Innovation and design were seen hand in hand with the fashion show and personally, I loved it!

A workshop by makeup district was also held on the second day of the event which was not only useful but a concept welcomed with open arms. The Fashion Show featured the designers bringing forth their 'A' Game in form of abayas, veils, and gowns. However, that was not all. Accessories also played a huge role in the exhibition.

We often speak of women empowerment on our website, it is events like these that prove to us and the world that times are changing and the women are definitely taking charge. From the various cuts to the ray of colors that we saw last night, fashion is not a general term anymore as we saw faces and collections that are bringing some major change in the industry.

Qatar Tourism board is keen about this project as it is expected to bring in more business tourists and has been successful so far. The ninth edition is proof of the fact that women entrepreneurship is bound to take the limelight in the coming years.
