The Hamad Medical Corporation announced in a tweet on 28 September 2022 that their Mobile Blood Donor Units will be across many areas in Doha in light of the Doha Healthcare Week.

The Mobile Blood Donor Units will be located as follows:

• 29 September 2022 - Qatar Foundation Primary Health Care Centre - 9 am till 2 pm
• 30 September 2022 - Bayt Al Diyafah Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City - 8 am till 2 pm
• 1 October 2022 - Al Khor Mall main entrance (Gate 3) - 4 pm till 8 pm
• 2 October 2022 - Qatar Red Crescent Msheireb Galleria and at Al Wakra Health Centre Female Entrance - 8 am till 2 pm
• 3 October 2022 - Sidra Medical VIP entrance - 8 am to 2 pm

Blood donor requirements

• Blood donors much 17 years and above
• Free from any chronic illness or previous infections
• Must have a minimum body weight of 50 kg
• Must have a minimum haemoglobin level of 13g for males and 12.5g for females

It is also essential that on the day of donation the donor should not be having any fever or cough symptoms and should have had enough sleep.
