Qatar Television in partnership with Qatar Charity and Qatar Red Crescent Society started an urgent relief campaign on QTV.QA on 10 February 2023, 5:30 pm, for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Türkiye and Syria.

Two large earthquakes of 7.8 and 7.6 magnitude devastated large parts of southeastern Türkiye and Syria on 6 February 2023. Thousands lost their lives in the tragedy, and rescue efforts within the countries and relief aid from across the world are ongoing.

A total of QR 168,015,836 was donated on the first day of the campaign, and here are some of the companies and individuals who donated.

• Sheikh Nasser Bin Khaled Al Thani Charitable Foundation: QR 580,000
