The body of a man who had gone swimming in the sea was retrieved yesterday from the Sealine area, according to an official.
Mohamed Shakir, director, at the Ambulance Service Department of Hamad Medical Corporation, said they took part yesterday in an operation in the Sealine area where the body of an expatriate drowning victim was found.
Unconfirmed reports on social media suggested the victim was an Egyptian national. Community members had earlier posted on Facebook that a young man had gone missing while enjoying the first day of Eid on Sealine Beach. A thorough search by the authorities concerned led to the retrieval of the body. (Source)
