Doha Film Institute announced on 10 April 2023 the opening of a casting call for a short film named 'Missed Connections'.

As explained by DFI, the short film surrounds the concept of the complexities of communication and relationships, following a local couple as they navigate the struggles of understanding each other.

The casting call is for male & female actors in lead roles with the following features:

• 30 to 35 years old
• Middle Eastern features with dark hair

Both actors are expected to be comfortable communicating in Arabic.
