Doha Burger Festival, the city’s first and largest gastronomic festival dedicated to the juicy nature of burgers and all things burger related, makes its return this month to the Doha events and entertainment scene.
After the success of two previous burger festivals, Cosette Solutions, the organizers and patron of Doha Burger Festival, has taken the festival now to bigger and greater heights. From the popularity of the past editions, this year’s Doha Burger Festival will run for a longer period of time and at a much larger location.
From Thursday 19th December up till Saturday 28th December, 12 midday to 12 midnight each day, and with the grand opening of Doha Burger Festival being the day after Qatar National Day, the festival will indeed serve to be an extension of the country’s long holiday celebrations!
The 10-day free admission festival is to be held at Aspire Zone, Furosiya Street, and features over 40 booths from the most succulent and tasty burger outlets. The festival will be an interactive affair that connects people from all over the county to some of the best burgers within Qatar, whilst festival-goers can also enjoy the chance to win daily prizes and giveaways courtesy of the various sponsors such as Vodafone the Exclusive Telecommunication Sponsor and Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) the Official Insurance Sponsor, to name a few.
In its third edition, Doha Burger Festival promises to not only offer the best, the unusual, and absolutely tempting selection of food, but also the daily instalments of live entertainment, performances and shows. The 10 days will be fun-filled with family-friendly activities that range from a host of games for children as well as adults, so certainly action-packed for all!
For those festival-goers who are serious about their burgers, or just have a competitive streak, then the Burger Eating Competition will be of an excitement. Running for four days – three days of heats and accumulating into the finals on the fourth day, the timed competition will see the overall winner not only leaving with a full stomach but also walking away with amazing top prizes from the key sponsors.
Steering the whole 10 days excitement, the ever-popular social media personality and presenter Ahmed Pato will be hosting the live stage performances and on-ground activities, as well as officiating the Burger Eating Competition. So expect laughs, and high energy and one advice given is: make sure to come hungry!
