The Holiday Villa Hotel and Residences' Diamond Hall last Friday morning was abuzz with excitement and photo ops as Doha's ever-lively Filipino content creators community once again convened under a common roof this time to welcome to Qatar Filipina Youtube make-up vlogger Anne Clutz.

Organized by the newly-established Filipino Vloggers in Qatar (FVQ), the Doha edition of the Meet & Greet session with Anne Clutz is one-of-a-kind as it's the first-ever international fans day of 34-year-old Anne who's been vlogging since January 2012.

Besides telling stories thru daily videos in her YouTube channel (which currently has approximately 746,000 subscribers at the time of writing), Anne also has a blog where she posts beauty product reviews, make-up tutorials, haul videos, affordable find videos and anything Pinay-related to cater to her mostly-millenial subscribers and followers.

“Don’t try to do something just to say you that you've created a content when you know from the very start that your heart isn’t there. For sure, your viewers will suffer and won’t get you. You should have your own identity when it comes to vlogging," Anne said while taking selfies with the attendees.

The 3-hour long hobnob opportunity was spiced up a notch more with fun games, raffle draws, and a surprise birthday bash for Anne herself.

FVQ co-founder Melanie Joana Azcueta Saupan-Laud (@lets_get_laud) was all-smiles while expressing her gratitude to everyone who spent their precious Fridays with Anne and the FVQ team. "It's a big honour to organise a Meet & Greet for a such a well-known vlogger personality like Ms. Anne. She is very down to earth and watching her product reviews on YouTube, I can confidently say that she was never biased with her thoughts online."

Richie Banjao (@akosichiee), one of the head organizers, further added that it took FVQ only 5 days to put up the event and despite the relatively-short time of making sure that everything falls accordingly, they still received mostly positive feedback from the 180 participants showed up out of approximately 400 registrants. "It was indeed an #Anneforgettable event."

Anne also has another channel, @anneclutzVLOGS, where she uploads personal and everyday life-themed video content.
