This recipe was adopted from Abdulmajeed Adam Hadi who is a 19-year-old food lover who takes cooking very seriously. He has been cooking for almost three years now. Abdulmajeed’s cousin planted the seed for the love for cooking in him. Since then, Abdulmajeed has been achieving cooking challenges to upgrade his skills and experience in cooking.

Hello everyone, I am mama ILQ and today I am going to teach you how to cook Abdulmajeed’s famous macaroni dish. All you need are a couple of basic ingredients you likley have in your kitchen.

I will give you measurements for a serving of four.

Ingredients:

Chicken drumsticks: 8 drumsticks

135g of Tomato paste

Salt

Black Pepper

As much Coriander as you like

Red chili Powder (optional)

1 Lemon

Olive Oil

400g of Macaroni

Room temperature water

Colander

Measuring cup

Knor Vegetable soup mix (or you can use fresh vegetables but cut them into very small pieces)

First, you want to boil water and salt in a pan. After that, pour the macaroni in the boiled water and wait for about 7-10 minutes for the macaroni to fully cook. After the macaroni is done, rinse out the macaroni using a colander, but keep ¼ of a cup of the starchy water, you’ll use it in a bit. Place the macaroni in a bowl off to the side. Pour 1-2 tablespoon of olive oil in the macaroni. Then cover with plastic wrap.

Bring a pot that can fit your chicken drumsticks. Boil your drumsticks in water until the color of your chicken becomes white-ish. Also, make sure that the inside of your chicken is cooked. Poke it to check. After the chicken is boiled, use a colander to rinse out the water.

Now, after the boiling is all over, the fun part comes! You now want to bring a skillet and transfer all of the chicken that you have boiled into it. Pour in 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil, ½ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, 135g of tomato paste and a pack of Knor powder or vegetable mini pieces of your choice. Mix everything together and keep it cooking for about 5-10 minutes, but please do not burn your masterpiece. Finally, pour in the ¼ of a cup of starchy water that you have saved earlier and give it a good mix.

Once the chicken drumsticks are covered with that amazing sauce you just made, pour it all over the macaroni.

Congratulations, you have completed one of Abdulmajeed’s famous macaroni dishes.

If you want to spice up the party, bring a small bowl, fill it up with 2-3 teaspoons of red chili powder, ½ salt and squeeze a lemon. Mix away and make sure your sauce a bit thick, not watery.

That’s all! Now take your picante sauce and spread it on to your chicken and macaroni and garnish a bit of coriander on top of your dish to feel like you have cooked a restaurant-quality dish!
