Doha has a large downtown area whose residents live on the perimeter of the city. The city districts are linked by elevated highways and expressways mixed with narrow city streets. A single bus product cannot meet the complex demand of public mobility in Doha, and a three-dimensional battery electric bus solution is necessary.

Yutong offered a comprehensive EV solution of trunk line city bus + feeder line link-up bus+ long driving range coach.

E11 is a low-entry city bus with a medium battery capacity to support the trunk transportation of Qatar’s main roads, main venues and heavy traffic areas during the event

E7 and E9 are low-entry link-up buses with small battery capacities to facilitate travel on narrow streets, street block circulation, metro connection, and the last kilometre link-up in urban areas. A combination of high-and-low-capacity buses is provided, where E9 is used for major metro stations and E7 for minor metro stations.
