Gearing up to meet the unique challenges posed by the dreaded COVID-19, this user-friendly and interactive app is an extension of the services being offered by Wellcare Group and Allevia Medical Center. It will enable patients to book appointments, transport service, order medicines, receive lab reports, and make payments as well as avail a host of other services. The users, who can download the app for free across operating systems such as Android and iOS, can use the app to book appointments with doctors as well as receive call-back from doctors using the in-app video calling feature. Most importantly, it protects their privacy.
According to Mr. Ashraf KP, Managing Director, Wellcare Pharmacy and Allevia Medical Center-Qatar, “Communications technology has brought doctors, patients and clinicians together virtually. In these trying times, this app will be a boon to the general public.”
