W Doha Hotel & Residences wins at Leaders in Hospitality Awards, Time Out Doha Awards and FACT Dining Awards

W Doha Hotel & Residences, the first luxury lifestyle hotel in Qatar, is honored to have been celebrated for their contribution in the hospitality industry with their recent streak of awards.

On May 17th, Helga Fischer was named ‘Leading Executive Housekeeper’ at Leaders in Hospitality Awards. Showcasing excellence in ensuring rooms and facilities are always maintained to the highest standards as well demonstrating effective communication and leadership skills, Helga’s outstanding efforts were truly distinguished.

W Doha also bagged three prestigious awards at the Time Out Doha Restaurant Awards 2017 held on May 2nd. The awards are a toast to the city’s finest culinary talent and mark the end of 12 months of rigorous reviewing by a panel of food experts on a mission to find the top restaurants in Doha.

This year, Market by Jean-Georges bagged the title of Best European Restaurant while the Spice Market, which specialises in South-East Asian cuisine was the winner of the Best Asian category. Italian restaurant La Spiga by Paper Moon was conferred the honour of Highly Commended Restaurant.

Adding to their success, W Doha walked away with two sought after awards at the third annual edition of the Fact Dining Awards 2017, held on April 10th. W Doha prove its mettle with the W Café winning the favourite award in the Café category and Spice Market claiming the honour of Best Restaurant in the Overall category.
