For the fifth year running, Vodafone Qatar has partnered with iLoveQatar.net on a website dedicated to all things Ramadan in Qatar at www.ramadan.qa. The website has been designed to be vibrant and easy to navigate with some great features to help everyone in Qatar celebrate and appreciate the holy month of Ramadan.

For example, Ramadan.qa has made it easy to find out prayer times with a calendar that can be downloaded to your phone or desktop, SMS notifications, and online daily prayer times. Also, as Ramadan is a time when many people meet up to be together and socialise, Ramadan.qa has a fantastic calendar of events that lists the places to go to for Iftar, Suhour, entertainment, and other fun activities. The list is updated on a daily basis and looks great on the mobile version of the site too.

For those who want to access Ramadan.qa on their mobiles, the site has a specialised mobile version, which has all of the features of the full site, and it’s free for Vodafone customers to access on their phones. One of the website’s outstanding features is its automatic change of layout with the moon element coming out indicating it’s getting time for Iftar.

Another great service on the website is recommended Ramadan applications for iOS and Android smartphones to download to their phones. Apps include prayer timings, Qibla, and Athan alarm clocks.

"This partnership is our way of saying Ramadan Kareem to everyone in Qatar. Ramadan.qa is a fantastic online platform that gives everybody in Qatar all the information they need during the holy month of Ramadan, whether they observe it or not. It is a one-stop information source that makes it easy to know what to expect and what is expected of everybody during this sacred season," said Khalifa Saleh Al Haroon, Founder of ILoveQatar.net.

For those that want to send their family and friends best wishes for Ramadan, the site also has digital Greeting cards that have been especially designed for Ramadan.

And for these that want to learn more about Ramadan, Ramadan.qa also has a quick guide which includes tips on eating, drinking, dress code and special considerations.
