UDC wins Asia's Best Employer Brand Award

United Development Company (UDC), one of Qatars leading public shareholding companies and the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar and Gewan Islands, has clinched two prestigious new awards at the 10th edition of Asias Best Employer Brand Awards.

The awards celebrate excellence in HR and recognize the achievements of organizations with outstanding management practices.

UDC was presented with the "Best Employer Brand Award" and the award for "Best HR Strategy in Line with Business" during a ceremony that took place at the Pan Pacific, Singapore on 15 August 2019.

Hosted by the World HRD Congress in collaboration with the Employer Branding Institute, the awards ceremony brought together over 400 senior HR and development professionals from 12 countries across Asia.

The awards reflect UDCs success in aligning its HR policies with its business strategies and in adopting effective management practices that contribute to the growth of the Company and its employees.

Commenting on this achievement, Ibrahim Jassim Al-Othman, UDCs President and CEO and Member of The Board, said: "The two awards demonstrate UDCs success not only as a leading real estate development company but also as an organization that is committed to the growth of its employees through effective and sound management and HR practices."

Earlier this year, UDC was recognized at the International Property Awards, which celebrate the achievements of companies operating in the real estate industry.

UDC won the "Best Mixed-Use Development Award" for The Pearl-Qatar & "Commercial High-Rise Development Award" for UDC Tower at the 2019-2020 Arabian Property Awards.

The Island was also chosen as the "Best Mixed-Use Development" at the 2018-2019 Arabian Property Awards, while UDC was named the "Best Real Estate Development Company in Qatar" in 2018 by the prestigious London-based International Finance Magazine.
