Doha, Qatar, 31 March 2015: Turkish Airlines, Europe’s best airline*, has announced the addition of four new flights to its regular weekly schedule, to and from Doha, starting from March 30 until October 25, 2015.
The additional weekly flights to and from Doha will be operated from the global carrier’s hub in Istanbul during the peak summer season, bringing the total number of weekly flights to 14 per week.
By increasing the frequency of flights, the premier airline endeavours to enhance its services, as well as cater travellers from Doha. One of the fastest growing airlines, Turkish Airlines’ new flights underlines the carrier’s position in meeting the increasing demand of customer needs.
Mehmed Kursad Caymaz, General Manager of Turkish Airlines in Qatar, said: “Our increased double- daily flights to Doha will cater to the growing customer demand for global connections, especially over the summer when travellers like to explore new destinations. Turkish Airlines flies to more destinations in the world than any other airline and so travellers from Qatar get to experience more when they fly with us.”
He added: “We are working alongside several tourism authorities to showcase the attractive offering of destinations. Part of our ongoing growth strategy in the region is to work closely with our travel agents who have been integral to the growth in passenger traffic from Qatar.”
The new four additional flights will increase capacity and provide convenient connection time. The additional flights are at the convenient connection time will leave from Doha at 02:15 am and 05:45 am.
